Mission Statement

From Linus Hall, Founder Veterans Outreach USA

In the spring of 2017, I read a statistic that stated 22 veterans commit suicide daily. That is a Veteran lost almost every single hour of every single day. My instant reaction was that this is unacceptable. With the mentality that this is a problem, and all problems have solutions, I started praying with my wife, Carolyn. I also brought it to my prayer group, a weekly gathering of about 30 people. On Veteran’s Day that year, I got to speak in my church to about seven hundred people and enlisted them to pray for these veterans. It was then I realized that in praying for a solution, God had already provided it : Prayer.

As a Vietnam Veteran I am very aware of, and share in the concerns of these men and woman. If you know a veteran, or are related to a veteran, please visit with them and encourage them; most of all, pray for them. If you want to go further and volunteer your time, please reach out via the Contact Us section of the website. I have been Volunteering at the Veterans Administration Hospital and can put you in touch with people who can get you started.

In addition to providing education, resources, and availability, Veterans Outreach USA is fundamentally an organization of prayer. If you are reading this, we invite you to join us in our campaign to bring the Veterans of the United States military to God. God can and will heal them. We believe that he is faithful to those who acknowledge their need for Him, and our need is great.

Thank you for your prayers,

Linus Hall
Founder, Veterans Outreach USA
